Chapter 3: BIOS setup
3.3 Advanced menu
The Advanced menu items allow you to change the settings for the CPU and other
system devices.
Be cautious when changing the settings of the Advanced menu items. Incorrect
eldvaluescancausethesystemtomalfunction.
3.3.1 ACPI Settings

Enable Hibernation [Enabled]
Enables or disables hibernate feature (OS/4 Sleep State). This option may not

ACPI Sleep State [S3 (Suspend to RAM)]
Select the highest ACPI sleep state the system will enter when the Suspend button
ispressed.Congurationoptions:[SuspendDisabled][S3(SuspendtoRAM)]
Lock Legacy Resources [Disabled]

SerialPort1~6Conguration
Thesub-itemsinthismenuallowyoutosettheserialportconguration.
Serial Port [Enabled]
Allows you to enable or disable the serial port (COM).

Device Mode [RS232]
Allows you to select COM RS Mode.
Congurationoptions:[RS232][RS422][RS485]
Change Settings [Auto]
Allows you to select the Serial Port base address.
